The Blue Ribbon Committee for the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin Plan (previously the Steering Committee) was assembled in 2011 as a broad group of stakeholders to implement the Groundwater Basin Management Plan to ensure the health of the basin.
There have been several working committees with representation from various stakeholders to complete a variety of special tasks:
- Solutions: Preliminary assessments of costs, feasibility, and benefits of a variety of solutions addressing both supply and demand.
- Outreach & Education: Develop outreach and education for the committee and track the efforts of the individual organizations.
- Model Update: Technical oversight of the project to update the current groundwater model.
